Who works here?

Real people, real roles, as they are hired, not before. This page says how we structure a team and what we publish about each person, and it fills in as the team grows.

Where this page stands today

As of October 2026, no profiles are published yet. Each one appears here only after the person has agreed in writing to what it shows. Until then, ask us who would work on your study, and we will tell you by name and role.

How we structure a team

Three groups, each shown differently on this page, for reasons explained below.

Leadership

Named, photographed, with a short biography and a credential a reader can check. This is the group accountable for the standards described on Our approach.

Research team

Named, by role: research analyst, research associate, senior research associate, project lead. A one-line note on what they work on, not a full biography for every person.

Field team

Described collectively: how many, where based, how recruited and trained. Not named or photographed individually on this page. See why, below.

Why field staff are not individually named here

A fieldworker's identity card, shown when they visit you, carries their photo and an interviewer number, so you can verify them directly. Publishing the same names and photos on a public website is a different decision: it can put people who go door to door for a living at a security or privacy risk that a desk-based researcher does not carry. So this page describes the field team as a group — size, training, local recruitment — and lets Verify a survey handle checking an individual, in person.

Recruited and trained locally

We recruit data collectors in or near the states where a study runs, so that they know the area and speak its languages. Every team is trained for the study it works on, and the training ends with a pilot in the field before data collection starts.

What each leadership profile will show

A photograph
A real photograph of the person, or none.
Name and role
Their full name and their role at Probatio Africa.
One checkable credential
A degree, a professional body or a named past role that a reader can look up.
A public profile
A link to their LinkedIn or similar professional profile.
What they work on
Two or three lines on their expertise and experience.

Every item is required before a profile is published. A missing item means the profile waits, rather than going live with a gap filled by a guess.

Consent and photographs

Written consent, every time.

Before a name, a role, a biography or a photograph is published, the person has agreed to it in writing, and can withdraw that agreement at any time.

A real photograph, or none.

No stock photography standing in for a real person, and no photograph of anyone who has not consented to it appearing here.

Kept current.

When someone leaves, their profile is removed within five working days, not left live as if they still worked here.

Want to be on this page one day?

We are not hiring today. When we are, openings will be listed here first.

Want to know who would actually work on your study?

Tell us what you need, and we will tell you which of our team, named or not yet on this page, would be assigned to it.
